Your Coffee-Lover’s Holiday Gift Guide

Eva has shipped thousands of unique coffee gifts over the past two years. And lucky for you, we’ve collected ratings and feedback from all of the recipients, so we know exactly which gifts people love to receive the most.

Your Coffee-Lover’s Holiday Gift Guide

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, or so they say.

There is a lot to love about the holiday season. But you’d be hard-pressed to find many people who are truly excited about all of their holiday shopping. In particular, many people struggle with gift ideas for corporate scenarios.

Whether it means buying a gift for a coworker, assistant, or important client, corporate gifting can stump even the most creative gift givers. Thank goodness, then, that there are a lot of holiday gift guides out there this time of year. But the truth is, most holiday gift guides boil down to one person’s opinion.

Eva’s data-driven Holiday Gift Guides are different.

A gift box and thank you note in the foreground, with an array of gifts, including, chocolate, coffee, and smart home devices blurred in the background.

Eva collects data and feedback not only from the people giving the gifts, but also from the people getting the gifts. And after shipping thousands of gifts we’ve got oodles of data to back up our holiday gift suggestions.

More and more people are reaching for a cup (or four) of joe every morning. Drinking coffee has practically become a national pastime. On average, Americans are spending $1,110 per year on java.

While the ubiquitous Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte may pop into mind first when you think of spending money on coffee, the truth is that more and more people are spending top dollar to brew the perfect cup at home.

High-end roasters are shipping their goods nationwide. Every hipster in a flannel owns a pour over kettle, a Chemex carafe, or a french press. Probably all three.

But if you’re looking for the perfect gift for the coffee-lover in your life, what should you choose? A gift card to a café may be convenient, but not particularly memorable.

3-19 Coffee

There’s really nothing not to love about these artist coffee tins from 3-19. The coffee is delicious. It comes in a gorgeous art-inspired container.

A rectangular metallic container, with a painting on the front showing a tragedy mask, purple hills, and vines with berries. The container says 3-19 coffee. On the side the container reads Coffee Made Creative.

Plus, every sale benefits coffee farmers, local artists, and the Graffiti HeArt scholarships for students in underserved areas. So, while you’re sitting back enjoying your morning cup, you can ponder the difference you’re making in the world. Ahhhhhh.

The Palmpress Coffee Press is the ideal way to make a single cup of coffee. It makes both hot and cold brew.

A cream colored box on the left reads One Coffee Press for Hot & Cold Brew. On the right is a short black cylinder.

It collapses down into a small disc for travel. It’s easy to use, and maybe even more important, easy to clean.

Coffee On the Go

Making the perfect cup of coffee at home is nice, but it can be a bit time-consuming. When you need your fix fast, but don’t want to sacrifice quality, these instant options are the way to go.

Dripkit allows you to brew a delicious pour over coffee, even on the go. The kit comes with the pre-ground beans and filter. You provide the hot water and your favorite mug.

On the left a white ribbed cup with a dripkit filter with a blue handle on top. On the right, a white dripkit pout. In a blue rectangle, white letters read dripkit pourover cofffee

Sudden Coffee is taking instant coffee to the next level. Formulated by an internationally-acclaimed barista and a Stanford engineer, it’s pretty much as good as instant coffee is going to get.

Counter Culture Coffee finally offers a quality cup of joe with the coffee grounds in a bag, so you can brew it the same way you do tea. Plus, all of the packaging is biodegradable or compostable.

Dandelion Chocolates

These have to be the most decadent chocolate-covered espresso beans on the planet. A collaboration between Dandelion Chocolates and Port of Mokha, these coffee beans come from a region of Yemen that was one of the first places to ever cultivate coffee.

In the foreground chocolate covered espresso beans that have been dusted with a layer of cocoa powder. In the back a white textured box reads Mokha Mocha Beans.

And the Camino Verde chocolate is some of the best you’ll ever taste. It may not actually be coffee, but I dare you to find a coffee drinker who doesn’t love these.
